…Purpose of the position
Off-Field is seeking motivated, high energy individuals whose primary function is to stimulate and recognize market opportunities as well as maintaining good relationships with clients; and making repeat sales to our existing customers. Candidate will be expected to understand and undertake business to business (B2B) and business to customer or consumer (B2C) sales.
Main Responsibility
The ideal candidate will conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience; and be able to generate convertible leads. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing and sales process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.
Key responsibilities & duties
- Locate business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Generate leads and meet with potential clients to determine their need.
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Creating detailed proposal documents to clients and prospects.
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and writing sales reports.
- Engage in digital marketing to enhance sales.
- Log all sales, contacts, and other related activities on a CRM/ERP platform and update such records daily or as often as there is need.
- Build and maintain professional networks.
- Participate in Strategy, Review and other Meetings of the company.
- Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
- Research and analyze sales options.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
*** Majority of assigned work will be conducted during standard business hours; however, it is essential that the candidate must be available for early morning, late evening, and weekend work as required by the CEO.
Academic or trade qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
Work experience and skills
- Ideally requires at least one year post-NYSC experience but this may be waived for impressive fresh applicants who demonstrate desirable potentials.
Other Skills
- Candidate will be expected to understand and undertake business to business (B2B) and business to customer or consumer (B2C) sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

An understanding of digital marketing and social media campaigns and/or willingness to learn same.

An understanding of advertising, SEO and email marketing and/or willingness to learn same;
- Experience in Sales and competency in English

The position is a Full-time position and is subject to a three (3) month probationary period.
